Linear guide clamping element, domestic linear guide Koolanba MCPS25 normally closed type clamp. Product features of the normally closed type clamp:
1. Used for fixing the slide table, positioning and preventing vibration.
2. It is a normally closed (Normally Closed) type.
That is, when supplying air: Release the clamping. When exhausting: Clamp the linear guide with the force of the spring.
The opening pressure is 0.3MPa.
3. Compact design.
It can also be used on square shafts. Please refer to the following pages for the hardness and dimensional tolerance of the square shaft.
Installation dimensions
It can be simply assembled into the existing system. There is no need to make design changes such as extending the guide rail length or changing the slide table size.
Installation steps:
1. First, install the guide rail Koolanba on the guide rail in the state of releasing the clamping. For the normally closed type, with the spacer inserted at the factory, perform the opening and closing actions about 10 times, and then install the guide rail.
2. Then temporarily fasten the guide rail Koolanba and the auxiliary gasket (if necessary) on the object such as the slide table to be used. Screws with a strength grade of 8.8 or above are required, and the engagement length should be at least the nominal diameter of the thread × 0.9.
3. Next, after repeating the actions of clamping/releasing the clamping of the guide rail about 10 times, keep it in the clamping state.
4. In the state of clamping the guide rail, fasten the mounting screws with the specified tightening torque. Please refer to each product page for the tightening torque.
5. For products with a sealing ring, fasten the sealing ring fixing bolts in the temporarily fastened state.
6. Confirm that the guide rail Koolanba does not interfere with the shield base, etc.
7. There is a spacer between the contact surfaces of MCPS at the time of delivery. Do not remove the spacer except during installation. If it is left for a long time with the spacer removed, MCPS may not operate.
