NUMAX Domestic Linear Rail Kuranba Normally Closed Brake Rail Clamping Mechanism MCPS30S, Terminology Explanation:

A linear rail clamp is a product that directly clamps the linear rail, linear shaft, etc., to brake or hold the position of the slide table. It solves the problems such as insufficient rigidity when using general driving parts such as motors + ball screws and cylinders for position holding, and improves the performance of the device.

NUMAX Domestic Linear Rail Kuranba Normally Closed Brake Rail Clamping Mechanism MCPS30S, Features:

1. Used for fixing the slide table, positioning, and preventing vibration.

2. It is a normally closed type.

When supplying air: Release the clamping.

When exhausting: Clamp the linear rail by the force of the spring.

3. Products with opening pressures of 0.3MPa and 0.4MPa have been standardized.

5. Can be easily assembled into the existing system. No design changes such as extending the rail length or changing the slide table size are required.

Installation Method:

1. Install the rail Kuranba on the rail in the state of releasing the clamping. For the normally closed type, perform about 10 opening and closing actions with the spacer inserted at the time of shipment, and then install the rail.
2. Temporarily fasten the rail Kuranba and the auxiliary gasket (if necessary) on the object such as the slide table to be used. Please use screws with a strength grade of 8.8 or above, and ensure that the engagement length is more than the nominal diameter of the thread × 0.9.
3. After repeating the action of clamping/releasing the clamping of the rail about 10 times, keep it in the clamping state.
4. In the state of clamping the rail, fasten the mounting screws with the specified tightening torque. Please refer to each product page for the tightening torque.
5. For products with a sealing ring, fasten the sealing ring fixing bolts in the temporarily fastened state.
6. Confirm that the rail Kuranba does not interfere with the shield base, etc.

The shapes of the rail Kuranba include: the shape that can be installed from the radial direction (upper) of the rail shaft and the shape that cannot be installed from the radial direction (upper) of the rail shaft. Please confirm the shape through CAD data.

Installation precautions:

1. When MCPS leaves the factory, there are spacers between the contact surfaces. Do not remove the spacers except during installation. If it is left in the state of removing the spacers for a long time, it may cause MCPS to fail to operate.

2. Connection method for booster connection:

(1). Remove the air filter.

(2). Install the pipe joint, hose and solenoid valve.

(3) Start supplying air.

(4) Start the solenoid valve and confirm the opening and closing status of Kulangba.
