Used for fixing the slide table, positioning and preventing vibration.
It is a Normally Closed type.
That is, when air is supplied: Clamping is released. When air is exhausted: The linear rail is clamped by the force of the spring.
The opening pressure is 0.3MPaCompact design.
It can also be used on square shafts. Please refer to the following pages for the hardness and dimensional tolerance of the square shaft.
It can be simply assembled into the existing system. There is no need to make design changes such as extending the rail length or changing the slide table size.
Installation steps and precautions:
Install the Rail Kurohaba on the rail in the state of releasing the clamping. For the normally-closed type, perform about 10 opening and closing actions with the spacer inserted at the time of shipment, and then install the rail.
Temporarily fasten the Rail Kurohaba and the auxiliary gasket (if necessary) on the object such as the slide table to be used. Please use screws with a strength grade of 8.8 or higher, and ensure that the engagement length is more than the nominal diameter of the thread × 0.9.
After repeating the action of clamping/releasing the clamping of the rail about 10 times, keep it in the clamping state.
With the rail clamped, fasten the mounting screws with the specified tightening torque. Please refer to each product page for the tightening torque.
For products with sealing rings, fasten the sealing ring fixing bolts in the temporarily fastened state.
Confirm that the Rail Kurohaba does not interfere with the shield base, etc.
The MKS has a cushion block between the contact surfaces at the time of shipment. Do not remove the cushion block except during installation. If it is left for a long time with the cushion block removed, the MKS may not operate.

The shapes of the guide rail of Kuhlmann include: shapes that can be installed radially (from above) on the guide rail shaft and shapes that cannot be installed radially (from above) on the guide rail shaft. Please confirm the shapes through CAD data.
