German technical background VOK ®- Disper WS Wetting Dispersant
Improved pigment wetting A wetting and dispersing agent that reduces the time required for the grinding process and stabilizes pigment dispersion. It prevents floating and blooming and improves luster. VOK ®- Disper WS is a deflocculating agent that can prevent color floating and blooming. It contains polysiloxane copolymers, which help prevent pigment separation and especially prevent the formation of Bernard dimples and pigment streaks.
Chemical composition: partially neutralized alkyl ammonium salt and polydimethylsiloxane solution of polycarboxylic acid polymer
Solvent: ethylene glycol butyl ether/isobutanol/water 5/4/1
Additive dosage: 0.2-2% inorganic pigment
2-5% organic pigment
Typical physicochemical data: amine value: 23 mg KOH/g
Non volatile matter: 50%
