Product Features & Benefits VOK®-ES 80 increases the conductivity of liquid coatings. Maintains coating properties, such as adhesion, without causing color changes and stabilizes viscosity.
Recommended use
The additive is recommended for electrostatically sprayed automotive original paint (OEM) and industrial coatings.
Recommended dosage
0.2-2 % additive dosage (supplied form) is based on the total formulation, depending on the polarity of the system.
The above recommended addition amount is for reference, and the suitable addition amount needs to be determined by a series of tests.
Incorporation method and processing guidance
VOK®-ES 80 can be added to coatings later. In non-polar systems with only petroleum solvent oil or xylene dilution, VOK®-ES 80 should first be diluted with isobutanol (1:1 or 1:2) to improve compatibility and performance.
Special considerations
This additive may shorten the opening time of two-component systems.
