Features and benefits
The good surfactivity of the additive causes spontaneous migration of the additive to the surface of the coating. It also contains OH functional groups that can crosslink with the corresponding binders. If the additive is immobilized on the surface of the coating by its reactive functional groups, the special properties it brings have good long-term effect.
VOK®-3720 increases the hydrophobicity and oleophobia of coatings in most coating systems. In addition, the additive can also reduce the dust retention of the paint film and improve the ease of cleaning of the coating film. The additive can improve the substrate wetting ability of the coating, leveling, surface slip, water resistance (anti-whitening), anti-blocking and weathering resistance. Therefore, we recommend that no additional surface additives be added when evaluating VOK®-3720, and if additional leveling additives are required, they should be added in the second step of the test phase. VOK®-3720 can also be used to improve the anti-graffiti and tape peelability of the coating film.
