VOK® -AP 1547 high-density polyethylene wax emulsion for improved scratch resistance of waterborne can coatings.

Anionic oxidized high-density polyethylene wax emulsion.

Non-volatile content (60 min., 125 °C): 35% 

Carrier: Water Melting point (wax composition): 125 °C 

Viscosity (23 °C, D=400/s): 40 mPa·s 

pH: 9.7 

Storage and transportation 

The product is temperature sensitive and must be stored and transported at 5 °C - 35 °C. Stir well before use.

This additive is particularly recommended for improving scratch resistance in water-based paint cans. 

Recommended dosage 1-2%

The dosage of additives (purchased form) is based on the total formulation of the coating. 

The above recommended addition amount is for reference, and the suitable addition amount needs to be determined by a series of tests. 

Incorporation method and processing guidance 

This additive is best added at a low shear rate at the end of production. Stir well before use.
