Wax emulsion of VOK®-AP 593 polypropylene for reducing surface slip (anti-slip effect) of water-based paints and printing inks.

The additive reduces surface slip of waterborne coatings and therefore has an anti-slip effect. 

Recommended use 

The additive is effective in all waterborne system coatings and is recommended for wood, furniture coatings, printing inks and overprint varnishes. 

Recommended dosage

 3-4% additive dosage (purchased form) Based on total coating formulation. 

The above recommended addition amount is for reference, and the suitable addition amount needs to be determined by a series of tests 

Incorporation method and processing guidance 

The additive is best added at a low shear rate at the end of production, stirring well before use.
