Product Introduction
This 180 tpd rotary dryer for wood chips gasifier system is a professional large-capacity drying equipment tailored for biomass wood chips gasification scenarios. It adopts a low-temperature anti-cracking structure adapted to the strict moisture requirements of gasifier feed, with a daily processing capacity of 180 tons of raw wet wood chips. It can stably reduce the moisture content of wood chips from 45%~60% to the optimal 10%~15% required for gasification, and the dried wood chips can be directly sent to the subsequent gasifier system, which is the core pre-treatment drying equipment to ensure the stable and efficient operation of the wood chips gasification system.
Working Principle
The obliquely installed multi-cylinder insulation main body is driven by a high-torque transmission system to rotate at a low and uniform speed. The wet wood chips are continuously fed into the inner cylinder, and are lifted and scattered layer by layer by the built-in special anti-blocking lifting plates as the cylinder rotates, making full contact with the low-temperature clean hot air flow. The moisture in the wood chips is evenly evaporated through the three-stage temperature control zones, and the dried wood chips that meet the gasification feed moisture standard are stably output from the discharge port, and then directly transported to the gasifier system, completing the 180-ton daily continuous drying process.

This 180 tpd model has multiple targeted advantages for wood chips gasifier systems. The precise temperature control system effectively avoids the over-drying or under-drying of wood chips, perfectly matching the strict feed moisture requirements of the gasifier. The multi-cylinder insulation structure greatly improves the thermal efficiency, and the energy consumption is reduced by more than 30% compared with ordinary single-cylinder dryers. The special anti-blocking structure prevents the large-particle wood chips from jamming during the drying process, ensuring continuous and stable feeding of the gasifier. The clean hot air drying process will not introduce impurities into the wood chips, avoiding the tar clogging problem of the subsequent gasification system.
