1. Product Overview
Color coated coils (PPGI/PPGL) adopt cold rolled, hot-dip galvanized or galvalume steel as base substrate, all carbon steel without stainless steel. The coils are produced on continuous coating lines through degreasing, cleaning and chemical passivation, then roller-coated with multi-layer environmental paint and cured under high temperature baking. Featuring light weight, rich colors, superior anti-corrosion & weather resistance and direct roll-forming performance, they are essential finished metal sheets for construction, home appliance and decoration industries.

Factory roof & wall panels, steel structure enclosures, container top plates, prefab houses, garage doors, home appliance shells (refrigerator, air conditioner, washing machine), photovoltaic brackets, advertising boards, ventilation ducts, decorative ceiling, agricultural greenhouses, small equipment housings.
Delivery Lead Time
Standard spot colors such as ocean blue, off-white and scarlet can be delivered within 5-7 days; customized color cards, PVDF fluorocarbon coating, surface film and high-strength substrate orders take 10-15 days, shipped in full containers from Tianjin Port.

4. Manufacturing Process
Coil uncoiling → degreasing washing & drying → chemical passivation treatment → roller coating epoxy primer → high-temperature curing baking → roller coating color topcoat → secondary high-temperature baking & cooling → back protective paint coating & curing → on-line inspection of film thickness, color difference & surface appearance → optional film lamination → recoiling & marking → steel strapping & packing for storageClosed-loop temperature-controlled baking ensures strong coating adhesion, free from missing coating, bubbles and uneven color.

6. Full Inspection for Every Coil
Spectral chemical composition, tensile, yield and elongation test for base metal
Precise measurement of zinc coating weight and coating dry film thickness
Coating cross-hatch adhesion test & T-bend flexibility test
Neutral salt spray corrosion test & QUV accelerated UV aging test
Full visual inspection for color difference, gloss, scratches, missing coating and pits
Recheck of thickness, width and coil weightMaterial certificate, coating test report and original quality guarantee certificate are provided for each coil.
Quality Warranty
Full replacement or compensation available for defective products including unqualified substrate, coating peeling, severe color difference and out-of-tolerance dimension.
7. Surface Treatment & Packing
Surface protection: Transparent PE film can be attached on front side to avoid scratches during processing & transportation; uniform grey protective back coat
Anti-rust treatment: Anti-rust oil coated on coil end faces to isolate moisture oxidation
Packing: Wrapped with inner waterproof plastic film and outer tarpaulin, reinforced by cross steel straps, equipped with coil corner protectors against lifting collision, moisture-proof packaging for sea container shipment.
