1. Product Overview
Hot rolled coils take continuous casting slabs as raw material, produced by high-temperature recrystallization rolling at 1100–1250℃. Raw materials only include carbon steel and high-strength low-alloy steel without stainless steel. Featuring excellent plasticity, toughness and weldability with cost-effective performance, coils can be further processed into hot rolled plates, narrow strips and pickled coils via flattening, slitting and shearing. They are essential upstream raw materials for steel structure, construction machinery, automobile, pipeline and light industry sectors.

Delivery Lead Time
Standard spot sizes can be delivered within 5-7 days; customized orders with special thickness, extra wide width, high-strength alloy or special surface treatment take 10-15 days, shipped in full containers from Tianjin Port.

4. Manufacturing Process
Continuous casting slab storage → furnace heating → high-pressure water descaling to remove oxide scale → reciprocating rough rolling → continuous finishing mill → laminar rapid cooling → constant tension coiling → on-line dimension & surface inspection → marking & warehousing → deep processing as required → packing & deliveryHigh-temperature recrystallization rolling eliminates internal stress for uniform microstructure, free from lamination and inclusion defects.

On-line thickness & width measurement for dimensional verification
Visual surface inspection to eliminate cracks, scabs, holes and indentationsMaterial test report, mechanical inspection certificate and quality guarantee certificate are supplied for each coil.
Quality Warranty
Full replacement or compensation available for defective products caused by unqualified chemical composition, out-of-tolerance dimension, internal lamination and surface flaws.
7. Surface Treatment & Packing
Surface finish: Standard hot rolled black oxide scale; pickled bright surface without scale
Anti-rust treatment: Anti-rust oil coated on coil outer surface, end faces covered by protective film against moisture
Packing: Reinforced by steel straps in radial & circumferential directions, wrapped with waterproof plastic film and tarpaulin; steel coil corner protectors prevent collision during lifting, moisture-proof packing for sea container transportation.
