5. Example of operating procedure
Spray test chamber (IPX6 test)
1.
The sample is fixed on the test bench and the nozzle distance is adjusted to 3 meters.
2.
Start the high pressure water pump, adjust the water pressure to 100kPa, flow rate 100 L/min.
3.
Keep spraying for 3 minutes to check whether water is inside.
Rain shower test chamber (IPX4 test)
1.
The sample is placed in the center of the 360° pendulum tube.
2.
Set the flow rate at 10 L/min and the pendulum tube rotates at full speed.
3.
Test continuously for 10 minutes to evaluate all-round splash protection.
