German technical background VOK ®- Disper W972 Wetting Dispersant
VOK ®- Disper W972 is a wetting and dispersing agent used in SMC/BMC and pultrusion process for homogeneous and stable systems, which can improve the color uniformity of the pattern material, improve the glass fiber infiltration, and optimize the performance. It is also an anti phase separation agent.

Application field
SMC, BMC, pultrusion process
Product features and advantages
Anti phase separation agent used in PS-UP mixture. It can improve the dispersion and stability of pigments in low shrinkage systems. In HMC, VOK ®- Disper W972 optimizes glass fiber infiltration to improve mechanical properties.
Recommended dosage
0.5-1% additive (purchased form) is resin based and used to prevent phase separation.
0.5-1% additive (purchased form) is based on glass fiber content and used for glass fiber infiltration.
30-140% of auxiliaries (purchased form) are pigment based and used to stabilize organic pigments and carbon black pigments.
The above recommended dosage is for reference, and the appropriate dosage shall be determined through a series of tests.
Adding method and processing guidance
VOK ®- Disper W972 should be added into the resin mixture and mixed evenly before adding pigments and fillers.
