Product Introduction
This 120 tpd rotary dryer for biomass wood chips drying is a professional large-capacity continuous drying equipment tailored for biomass fuel processing scenarios. It adopts a tilt-rotary cylinder structure, with a daily processing capacity of 120 tons of raw wood chips, and can reduce the moisture content of wet wood chips from 45%~55% to below 12% at one time. The dried wood chips can be directly used for subsequent biomass pellet pressing, which is the core drying equipment to ensure the continuous and stable operation of large-scale biomass fuel production lines.
Working Principle
The inclined rotary cylinder is driven by a stable transmission system to rotate at a set low speed. The wet wood chips are fed into the cylinder from the feed end, and are continuously lifted and scattered by the built-in lifting plates as the cylinder rotates, fully contacting with the high-temperature hot air flowing in the same direction. The moisture in the wood chips is rapidly evaporated and taken away by the hot air flow. After the wood chips move to the discharge end along the inclined cylinder, the moisture content reaches the set requirement, and the finished dry material is stably discharged, completing the continuous drying process.

The optimized lifting plate structure makes the wood chips fully contact with hot air, with high thermal efficiency and low energy consumption. The special anti-blocking design effectively avoids the material sticking and clogging problem during wood chips drying. The sealed structure reduces heat loss, and the operation is stable and reliable, supporting 24-hour uninterrupted operation.
