It is a normally closed (Normally Closed) type.
When air pressure is supplied: Clamping is released.
When air pressure is discharged: The shaft is clamped by the force of the spring.Products with opening pressures of 0.3MPa and 0.4MPa have been standardized.

1. First, install the rail lock on the rail in the state of releasing the clamping. For the normally closed type, with the spacer inserted at the time of shipment, perform about 10 opening and closing operations, and then install the rail.
2. Then temporarily fasten the rail lock and the auxiliary gasket (if necessary) on the object such as the sliding table to be used. Screws with a strength grade of 8.8 or higher should be used, and ensure that the engagement length is more than the nominal diameter of the thread × 0.9.
3. Next, after repeating the clamping/releasing clamping action of the rail about 10 times, keep it in the clamping state.
4. In the state of clamping the rail, fasten the mounting screws with the specified tightening torque. Please refer to each product page for the tightening torque.
5. For products with a sealing ring, fasten the sealing ring fixing bolt in the temporarily fastened state.
6. Confirm that the rail lock does not interfere with the shield base, etc.
7. When MKRS leaves the factory, there is a cushion block between the contact surfaces. Do not remove the cushion block except during installation. If it is left for a long time with the cushion block removed, MKRS may not operate properly.
