High elasticity and flexibility: After curing, it can form an elastic body, which can adapt to the demolding of complex-shaped castings, avoiding mold cracking or casting damage.
High-precision replication capability: It has strong fluidity in liquid state and can fill in fine patterns (such as 0.01mm-level details), making it suitable for precision castings (such as handicrafts and parts).
High-temperature resistance and chemical resistance: It can withstand temperatures ranging from 150℃ to 200℃, and is suitable for casting materials such as resins, gypsum, and molten metals. Moreover, it is not prone to chemical reactions with casting materials.
Excellent demolding property: Silicone rubber has a low surface tension, allowing for easy demolding without the need for additional mold release agents, thereby reducing mold wear.
Reusability: High-quality liquid silicone rubber molds can be reused 50 to 100 times, making them suitable for small-batch production.
Casting pouring and demolding
Apply a small amount of mold release agent (such as silicone oil) to the inner surface of the mold, and pour in resin, gypsum or molten metal (pay attention to the temperature resistance of the material).
After the casting has solidified, gently squeeze the mold and remove the casting from the parting surface to complete demolding.
