 DYP-ME007 USB interface ultrasonic sensor provides non-contact distance measuring of 2cm to 4 meters range. This ultrasonic sensor module is applied for distance measuring like: programmable car obstacle avoidance, robot obstacle avoidance, teaching apparatus, security and industrial control and more.

Instructions for using:

 

The USB interface of module will connect with the USB interface of computer when in using. After installing the driver files of CH340T, the computer will identify a hardware interface, then open the assistant of serial debugging, right click the "my computer" then open the device manager. Looking out which interfaces is the serial port in computer,then choose the serial port from the debugging assistant. Setting the baud rate: 9600,N,8,1, then open the serial port. The module will receive four 8-digit and the  format of frame is: 0XFF + H_DATA + L_DATA + SUM.

1. 0XFF: is a beginning data,used to determine a data;

2. H_DATA: the heigt of distance data is 8 digits;

3. L_DATA: the low of distance data is 8 digits;

4. SUM: sum of data, used for validation. 0XFF+ DATA_H +DATA_L =SUM(only lower than 8 digits);

 

Note: DATA_H and DATA_L combine into 16 digits,the distance value in millimeters;
