1. Basic Product Definition
H section steel (H-beam) is an economical and high-efficiency structural steel with H-shaped cross-section, composed of vertical web and two parallel horizontal flanges. Its specification is marked as Height × Flange Width × Web Thickness × Flange Thickness (mm), e.g. 400×200×8×13. Density is 7.85g/cm³ and delivered by theoretical weight. It is classified into hot rolled H-beam and welded H-beam. With rational section distribution, excellent multi-directional bending resistance and light self-weight, it is widely adopted as beams and columns in various steel structure projects.

Q235B (General Construction Grade)
C≤0.22%, Si≤0.35%, Mn≤1.40%, S≤0.045%, P≤0.045%
Q355B (High Strength Low Alloy Grade)
Low carbon alloy steel with higher manganese content, superior low-temperature toughness and impact resistance, fit for bridges, heavy-duty workshops and large-span structures.
Surface Treatment Types
Black hot rolled H-beam, hot-dip galvanized H-beam, weather resistant H-beam.

Yield Strength Re ≥235MPa
Tensile Strength Rm: 370–500MPa
Elongation after fracture A ≥22%Outstanding ductility, stable welding performance, no cracking under cold bending.
Q355B High Strength H-beam
Minimum yield strength reaches 355MPa. It can reduce steel consumption by 15%-20% under equal load capacity, ideal for heavy load structural projects.

Hot Rolled H-beam
Steel billet heating → Rough rolling & finish rolling forming → Straightening & fixed-length cutting → Surface treatment (optional galvanizing) → Dimensional & mechanical random inspection → Bundling, labeling & warehousing
Welded H-beam
Steel plate cutting → Plate assembly → Submerged arc welding → Straightening → Shot blasting rust removal → Galvanizing (optional) → Inspection & packaging

10. Surface Quality & Packaging
Surface Standard
No cracks, folds, delamination, severe scarring or rolling defects on surface; slight iron oxide scale is acceptable; galvanized layer is uniform without peeling; flat and smooth cutting ends without burrs.
Packaging Methods
Conventional straight bars: Bundled by multiple steel straps, 2–4 tons per bundle. Metal tags hung on both ends marked with specification, steel grade, heat batch number and gross weight.
Export sea freight package: Wrapped with waterproof plastic film and rainproof tarpaulin, moisture-proof agent can be added to avoid rust during long-distance sea transportation.
Galvanized H-beams are packed separately with protective spacers to prevent scratch damage on zinc coating.
11. Delivery Supporting Information
Loading Port: Tianjin Port, Lead Time: 5–7 working days
Payment Term: 30% TT advance deposit + 70% balance against copy of Bill of Lading
Attached Documents: Original mill test certificate, factory inspection report, CO and FTA Certificate of Origin can be issued
