1. Product Definition & Core Overview
Patterned steel plate, also known as anti-slip steel plate or tread plate, is a special hot-rolled steel plate formed by professional patterned rolls. The plate surface features regular raised patterns, including lenticular, diamond, round bean and mixed oval-round patterns. Featuring excellent anti-slip performance, high wear resistance, strong compression and bending resistance, attractive appearance and good rust resistance, the product boasts high overall structural strength and non-deformation performance. It is a special steel material widely used for industrial platforms, stair treads, anti-slip flooring and walkway paving.
Manufactured with carbon structural steel substrate through integrated hot rolling, the patterned layer is tightly bonded to the base plate without peeling or delamination. The plate can be directly cut, bent, welded and punched without secondary surface treatment, and is extensively applied in factory buildings, shipyards, vehicles, municipal engineering and mechanical anti-slip structures.

3. Product Classification & Pattern Types
3.1 Classification by Pattern Style
Lenticular Pattern (Most Common): Outstanding anti-slip performance, high wear resistance, strong load-bearing capacity and low dust accumulation. It is the mainstream choice for industrial plants, shipyards and factories.
Diamond Pattern: Regular three-dimensional pattern with excellent decorative effect, suitable for equipment casings and aesthetic walkways.
Round Bean Pattern: Uniform friction and comfortable walking experience, mostly used for vehicle chassis and carriage bottom plates.
Mixed Pattern: Combined oval and round structure with balanced anti-slip and load-bearing performance, ideal for high-end equipment platforms.
3.2 Classification by Material
Ordinary Carbon Patterned Steel (Q235B): Good toughness, excellent weldability and cost performance, serving as the mainstream material for general applications.
Low-Alloy Patterned Steel (Q355B): Higher strength, superior impact resistance and load-bearing capacity, specially used for heavy-duty equipment and large-scale platforms.
3.3 Classification by Production Process
Integrated Hot-Rolled Patterned Plate: The substrate and pattern are rolled synchronously with firm bonding, no cracking or pattern falling off, complying with national standard quality requirements.
Secondary Embossed Plate: Formed by re-embossing ordinary flat plates with shallow patterns and poor adhesion, only applicable for simple decorative purposes.

6. Production Process Flow
Steel billet heating → High-pressure water descaling → Rough rolling shaping → Finish rolling & pattern embossing via special patterned rolls → Laminar flow cooling → Straightening & leveling → Fixed-length shearing → Surface quality inspection → Dimensional re-inspection → Marking & spraying → Packaging & warehousing
Adopting one-time integrated hot rolling molding, the patterns and substrate form a continuous integrated metallographic structure with ultra-strong adhesion. No pattern peeling or surface flaking occurs under long-term load bearing, treading and friction.

9. Processing & Operation Specifications
Install with the patterned surface facing upward; reverse installation is prohibited to avoid loss of anti-slip effect.
Cutting and welding operations are consistent with ordinary steel plates without special processes required.
Painting or hot-dip galvanizing anti-corrosion treatment is recommended for long-term outdoor use to extend service life.
Plates with thickness above 3.0mm and Q355B high-strength material are preferred for heavy-duty platforms.
During bending processing, the inner substrate shall bear pressure and the outer patterned surface shall bear tension to prevent pattern cracking.
