Product Introduction
This stainless steel rotary dryer for herbs is a high-sanitary active-ingredient-preserving continuous drying equipment tailored for Chinese herbal medicines, edible herbs, plant herb raw materials and other herb production scenarios. All parts in direct contact with materials are made of food/pharmaceutical grade 304/316L stainless steel, with no heavy metal precipitation, no herb residue and excellent corrosion resistance to herbal volatile components. It can stably adapt to the long-term continuous drying of various herb raw materials such as roots, stems, leaves, flowers and fruits of medicinal plants, fully meeting Chinese herbal medicine processing and food safety standards. It is the core drying equipment to ensure no herb pollution, complete retention of active ingredients and stable product quality in modern herb production lines.
Working Principle
The obliquely installed fully enclosed stainless steel multi-cylinder insulation main body is driven by a low-noise stable transmission system to rotate at a uniform low speed. Fresh herb raw materials to be dried are fed into the inner cylinder through a closed feeding port, and the built-in polished non-dead-angle gentle-lifting stainless steel lifting plates continuously lift and scatter the materials as the drum rotates, making them fully contact with the filtered low-temperature clean hot air flow. Free moisture in the herb materials is efficiently and evenly evaporated through the multi-stage precise gradient temperature control zones, and the dried herb products that meet the process standards are stably discharged from the special active-ingredient-locking discharging end, completing the continuous herb drying process. The all-stainless-steel material contact system will not produce any pollution reaction with herb materials, completely avoiding hidden dangers such as herb active ingredient degradation, bacterial residue and effective component loss.

This equipment has multiple targeted herb production exclusive advantages. The food/pharmaceutical grade stainless steel structure completely meets the strict sanitary requirements of herb processing industry, and the mirror-polished inner cavity has no dead corners, effectively preventing herb residue and cross-contamination between different herb varieties. The multi-stage low-temperature gradient drying mode maximizes the retention of herbal active ingredients, avoiding the destruction of heat-sensitive medicinal components. The fully enclosed operation design effectively prevents the loss of herbal volatile active oils, and the finished herbs have uniform moisture and guaranteed quality. It can be customized with different daily processing capacities from 1 ton to 200 tons according to the actual herb production scale of users.
