2 Working Principle
This comprehensive solution achieves seamless closed loop operation through a fully integrated, automated multi stage process line.
Thickening and Initial Dewatering: The low density gold tailings slurry from the leaching or flotation circuits is directed into high rate thickeners. Automated chemical dosing units introduce specific flocculants to accelerate solid aggregation, generating highly clarified water that overflows back into the plant circuits, while a dense slurry underflow is collected at the bottom.
Deep Filtration and Dry Stacking: The thickened underflow is pumped into advanced multi plate filter presses or vacuum belt filters. Tremendous mechanical pressure forces out remaining moisture, producing dry filter cakes that are easily transported by conveyors for safe dry stacking or underground mine backfilling, while the recovered water is returned to the plant.
Centralized Automation Control: The entire process chain is integrated into a unified Distributed Control System. Sensors monitor densities, flow rates, pressure levels, and mechanical torque in real time, automatically adjusting variables to ensure an continuous, balanced, and energy efficient dewatering operation.
