1. Product Introduction
The High-Capacity Thickener System is a premier, heavy-duty solid-liquid separation solution engineered to process massive volumes of slurry in demanding industrial environments. Designed to overcome the limitations of traditional settling ponds and conventional thickeners, this system utilizes advanced feed technology and optimized tank hydraulics to handle extreme solids loading rates. 2. Working Principle
The High-Capacity Thickener System maximizes sedimentation rates by creating an idealized environment for rapid particle aggregation and compaction:
High-Volume Feed Management: Slurry is introduced into a specialized, high-capacity feedwell designed to handle intense flow rates. Inside, the slurry undergoes controlled energy dissipation and is precisely blended with flocculating agents.
Deep-Bed Filtration & Settling: The treated slurry is directed beneath a dynamic, established sludge blanket. As the liquid rises, the fine particles are trapped by the blanket, which acts as a natural upward filter. This allows for incredibly fast settling velocities and crystal-clear overflow water collection at the peripheral launders.
Heavy-Duty Compaction & Underflow Discharge: The settled solids form a dense mud bed at the bottom of the tank. A high-torque, structurally reinforced rake mechanism continuously shears the bed to release trapped water, consolidating the solids into a high-density sludge that is steadily discharged via heavy-duty underflow pumps.
