2. Working Principle

The High-Capacity Thickener System maximizes sedimentation rates by creating an idealized environment for rapid particle aggregation and compaction:

  • High-Volume Feed Management: Slurry is introduced into a specialized, high-capacity feedwell designed to handle intense flow rates. Inside, the slurry undergoes controlled energy dissipation and is precisely blended with flocculating agents.

As the liquid rises, the fine particles are trapped by the blanket, which acts as a natural upward filter.
