2 Operating Principle

The operating principle of this system is mainly divided into three core stages. The first is the high efficiency concentration stage, where lead zinc flotation tailings pulp is fed into a deep cone or high rate thickener, where automatic dosing systems introduce specialized polymers to force rapid aggregation and settling of the fine lead and zinc sulfide particles. The second is the mechanical dewatering stage, where the concentrated high-density underflow mud is pumped into heavy duty chamber filter presses or vacuum disc filters to compress the solids into a low moisture dry stackable cake for safe disposal or backfilling. The final stage is the chemical and water purification stage, where the clear overflow water undergoes advanced oxidation and precipitation to neutralize residual flotation reagents, heavy metals, and lead zinc ions before being redirected back to the plant grinding and flotation loops.
