Turnkey Mineral Thickener System is a fully integrated, pre engineered liquid solid separation plant designed to provide immediate dewatering and water reclamation capabilities for mining operations. Unlike standalone equipment, this complete turnkey system incorporates everything required for immediate industrial operation, including the thickener tank, structural steel supports, automated chemical preparation blocks, piping, valves, and centralized electrical controls. It is specifically engineered to handle diverse mineral slurries from gold, copper, iron, and lithium processing, transforming low density tailing or concentrate streams into clear, reusable water and highly concentrated underflow mud. By eliminating complex on site engineering and compatibility issues, this complete solution drastically accelerates project commissioning timelines for greenfield mining projects and plant upgrades alike.

2 Operating Principle

The operating principle of this system is mainly divided into three core stages. The first is the intelligent feed and flocculant blending stage, where raw mineral slurry is piped into the system and precisely mixed in a high dynamic feedwell with automated polymer solutions that bind fine mineral grains into large, heavy mass structures. The second is the accelerated gravity sedimentation stage, where these aggregated solids drop rapidly to the bottom of the main tank to form a compressed sludge bed, while the clean, separated water rises to the top and continuously flows over the peripheral V notch launder for immediate industrial reuse. The final stage is the coordinated mud consolidation and continuous evacuation stage, where automated high torque rakes slowly rotate to sweep the thick underflow sludge into a central discharge cone, where integrated progressive cavity or centrifugal slurry pumps instantly transport the dense mud to downstream filtration or paste tailing storage areas.
