2 Working Principle
Our advanced thickening equipment integrates state of the art hydraulic design with automated chemical control loops to optimize high capacity phase separation.
Precision Feed and Mixing: The raw mineral slurry enters our specialized central feedwells where it undergoes optimized fluid distribution. Concurrently, highly automated systems inject a precise quantity of flocculant. The fine mineral particles interact with the polymers, rapidly forming large, fast settling flocs.
Uniform Sedimentation Zone: The flocculated slurry moves gently into the main settling basin. Due to the carefully calculated internal dynamics, turbulence is suppressed, allowing the dense aggregates to sink directly to the tank bottom to form a compact mud layer while releasing clean water upward.
Driven Discharge Control: The highly clarified water continuously flows over the upper peripheral weir for direct plant recycling. Simultaneously, our robust, high torque center or peripheral drive system rotates the heavy duty rake mechanism, gathering the highly dense underflow sludge towards the central discharge port for efficient extraction.
