1. Product Introduction
The Log Washer Peru Mining Plant is a dedicated washing and desliming equipment designed for mining conditions in Peru. Peruvian mining areas are mostly mountainous open-pit operations with rich mineral resources. However, raw ores typically contain large amounts of high-viscosity red clay, weathered soil layers, and strongly cemented clay lumps. These conditions lead to severe ore coating, high impurity content, poor washing efficiency, frequent clogging, and significant fine mineral loss when using conventional equipment.
This machine is specifically optimized for complex clay-rich conditions in Peru. It significantly enhances scrubbing and desliming performance, efficiently removes stubborn surface clay layers, and liberates clay-encapsulated valuable minerals. As a result, it improves ore grade and recovery rate. It is suitable for washing copper ore, gold ore, lead-zinc ore, silica sand, and other materials, making it a key pre-treatment equipment for mineral processing plants in Peru.
2. Working Principle
The equipment adopts a purely physical washing method combining mechanical scrubbing, water flushing, and gravity-based sedimentation separation. It enables efficient separation of ore, clay impurities, and wastewater under continuous mining operation conditions.
1. Clay breaking and loosening
Raw ore enters the inclined tank and is continuously tumbled and rubbed by spiral blades. This action effectively breaks down hardened clay lumps and strongly bonded red soil, fully removing surface mud from the ore.
2. Washing and density separation
With continuous water spraying and flushing, high-density clean ore particles settle, while light clay, fine mud, and impurities remain suspended in the slurry, achieving effective stratification and separation.
3. Stable discharge of clean ore
After desliming, clean ore is smoothly lifted and discharged by the spiral blades, then dewatered and transferred to downstream crushing or beneficiation processes.
4. Centralized slurry discharge
Suspended sludge and light waste materials are discharged through the tail-end overflow outlet, ensuring complete separation of ore, mud, and water, preventing re-contamination and ensuring long-term stable operation.
