It is designed specifically for the purification and upgrading of desert sand, aeolian sand, and desert gravel materials.
Unlike conventional sand washing equipment, this machine focuses on powerful de-dusting, removal of surface fines, and separation of loosely attached clay and dust particles. It effectively solves common problems in desert sand such as high mud content, excessive dust, poor purity, and unstable gradation.
The equipment is widely used in desert-based construction sand production, concrete aggregate processing, backfill sand preparation, and desert-associated mineral sand washing. Working Principle:
The equipment adopts an inclined trough structure with a dual-shaft counter-rotating spiral system. It operates based on mechanical tumbling scrubbing combined with low-water washing and classification, specifically optimized for water-scarce desert conditions.
Raw desert sand is fed into the trough, where heavy-duty wear-resistant spiral blades continuously tumble, rub, and impact the material. This process effectively breaks up loose dust clusters and removes fine particles and adhered impurities from the sand surface.
With a small amount of spray water, fine dust, clay particles, and suspended impurities are discharged through overflow, achieving solid–liquid separation. Clean and uniformly graded sand is steadily discharged by the spiral system, completing de-dusting, washing, purification, and conveying in a fully continuous process with significantly reduced water consumption.
