Product Introduction:
Log Washer for River Gravel Processing is a heavy-duty scrubbing and washing equipment specially designed for river gravel, river pebbles, and river sand materials. Natural river pebbles and river sand are formed and stored in water environments for long periods, and their surfaces are often covered with silt, clay, organic matter, and fine mud layers. Conventional sand washing equipment cannot fully remove these stubborn impurities.
This machine is specifically designed for high-mud river gravel, riverbank aggregates, and washed stone materials. It is widely used in river sand mining, aggregate processing plants, concrete batching plants, and road & bridge construction material washing. It is a key pre-treatment equipment for improving the cleanliness and quality of river gravel products.
Compared with traditional sand washers, this equipment focuses on strong mechanical scrubbing. It effectively handles river gravel with heavy clay adhesion and stubborn surface contamination, solving problems such as excessive mud content, high stone powder impurities, and poor aggregate appearance, ensuring the final washed gravel and manufactured sand fully meet construction material standards.
Working Principle:
The equipment adopts a large-inclination inclined trough structure with a dual-shaft counter-rotating spiral scrubbing system. It operates based on a combination of high-intensity material friction scrubbing and circulating water washing classification.
Raw river gravel and sand enter the trough after being immersed in water. The dual-shaft wear-resistant spiral blades continuously tumble, lift, and compress the material, creating strong inter-particle friction and collision. This process thoroughly removes stubborn mud, clay layers, algae, and adhered sediments from the surface of river pebbles.
Under continuous water flow, light sludge and fine impurities are suspended in the water and discharged through the overflow outlet, achieving complete separation of stone, mud, and water. Clean river gravel is continuously pushed to the discharge end by the spiral system, completing soaking, scrubbing, desliming, and conveying in a fully automatic process.
