Product Introduction
The Log Washer is a heavy-duty scrubbing and washing machine used in mining and aggregate processing industries. It is specifically designed for deep desliming and purification of high-clay, highly viscous, and cemented ore materials. The equipment is optimized for materials that conventional sand washing machines cannot effectively process, such as clay-coated ores and consolidated lumps. It is widely used for pre-treatment of ores, river gravel, and construction sand, and is suitable for harsh and complex working conditions, significantly improving final product purity and grade.
Working Principle
The equipment adopts an inclined tank structure combined with a dual-shaft counter-rotating spiral system. It operates based on the combined mechanism of mechanical scrubbing and hydraulic classification washing.
After entering the water tank, the clay-rich and sticky material is first softened through water immersion. Then, the low-speed heavy-duty spiral blades rotate and continuously lift, tumble, compress, and rub the material. This strong mechanical scrubbing action effectively breaks apart hardened clay lumps and removes stubborn clay and impurities adhered to the material surface.
At the same time, fine clay particles and light impurities are carried away by the water flow and discharged through the overflow outlet, achieving efficient separation of solids and impurities. Clean materials are continuously conveyed and discharged by the spiral blades, completing a fully automated process of desliming, impurity removal, purification, and conveying.
