Product Introduction
The Log Washer for Hard Clay Ore is a heavy-duty mining scrubbing and washing machine specifically designed for consolidated, hardened clay and ore materials with thick mud coatings. Conventional washing equipment often fails to effectively break up hardened clay and achieve sufficient desliming performance. This machine is specially engineered for high-hardness, highly compacted, and highly viscous clay-ore conditions. It can efficiently remove strongly cemented clay layers on ore surfaces and break apart hard clay lumps.
It is widely used in the pre-treatment and desliming of iron ore, manganese ore, bauxite, limestone, and other mineral ores. The machine significantly improves ore purity and final grade, making it a key washing unit in hard clay ore processing plants.
The equipment adopts a heavy-duty reinforced frame structure with strong resistance to pressure, abrasion, and impact. It is designed for long-term operation under high-load and high-intensity mining conditions, efficiently separating clay from ore mixtures and providing clean raw materials for subsequent crushing, screening, and beneficiation processes. It is suitable for continuous large- and medium-scale mining production.
Working Principle
The equipment operates with an inclined heavy-duty tank and a dual-shaft counter-rotating spiral structure, combining mechanical scrubbing/shearing with hydraulic washing and classification.
Raw clay-rich ore is fed into the inclined tank and first softened through water immersion. Heavy-duty, high-torque wear-resistant blades rotate at low speed, continuously tumbling, kneading, and rubbing the material. Through strong mechanical shear force, hardened clay lumps are broken apart and firmly attached clay layers on ore surfaces are removed.
As the clay is loosened and dispersed in water, fine impurities are discharged through the overflow outlet, achieving efficient ore–clay separation. Clean ore particles are smoothly conveyed and discharged by the spiral blades, completing the entire process of breaking, washing, desliming, purification, and conveying in a fully continuous operation.
