Product Introduction:
Log Washer for Construction Sand is a heavy-duty washing and scrubbing equipment specially designed for engineering and construction aggregate purification. It is mainly used for washing crushed stone sand, mixed aggregates, and stockpile sand materials.
Construction sand raw materials typically contain high levels of soil, surface mud, weathered fines, dust particles, and impurities. Conventional sand washing equipment often cannot achieve sufficient cleaning performance, leading to excessive mud content and impurity levels in the final product, which may fail to meet standards for concrete mixing, civil construction, and precast component production.
This equipment is designed for strong mechanical scrubbing and deep purification. It effectively removes clay, floating soil, dust, and weak particles attached to the surface of sand and gravel, optimizes particle grading, and significantly improves sand cleanliness. It is a key pre-treatment equipment for producing compliant construction sand and high-quality engineering aggregates. It is widely used in ready-mix concrete plants, sand and gravel production lines, on-site construction sand cleaning, and aggregate processing plants.
Working Principle:
The equipment adopts an inclined deep-water tank structure combined with a dual-shaft counter-rotating spiral system. It operates based on the core principles of mechanical scrubbing purification and hydraulic classification.
Raw construction sand containing mud and impurities enters the water tank and is first softened by immersion. The dual-shaft wear-resistant spiral blades rotate at low speed, continuously tumbling, compressing, and rubbing the material.
Through strong mechanical scrubbing action, cemented mud lumps are broken up, and stubborn surface mud, dust, and weathered layers are removed from sand particles. Meanwhile, continuous water flow carries away light clay, fine particles, and suspended impurities through the overflow system, achieving precise separation of sand, mud, and waste.
Clean and qualified construction sand is steadily discharged by the spiral system, completing soaking, scrubbing, desliming, purification, and conveying in a fully automatic process.
