Product Introduction:
Log Washer (log-type ore washing machine) is a heavy-duty trough-type washing equipment specially designed for mining conditions in Chile. Unlike conventional spiral sand washers, this equipment focuses on high-intensity mechanical scrubbing and deep desliming performance. It is specifically developed to solve ore washing challenges in mining areas with high clay content, severe mud lumping, and strong surface contamination.
It is widely applicable to Chilean iron ore, manganese ore, silica sand, limestone, phosphate rock, and other metallic and non-metallic ores. The equipment is commonly used in ore beneficiation pre-treatment, aggregate purification, and tailings cleaning processes. It is suitable for small, medium, and large-scale continuous mining operations. With strong adaptability to Chile’s high-clay and complex mining environments, it is a key equipment for improving ore grade and optimizing downstream beneficiation performance.
Working Principle:
The equipment adopts an inclined trough structure and operates based on dual-shaft spiral mechanical scrubbing combined with high-pressure water washing.
During operation, raw ore containing mud enters the inclined tank from the feeding end. The dual-shaft wear-resistant blades rotate slowly in opposite directions, continuously tumbling, impacting, and rubbing the ore. This process effectively breaks cemented clay lumps and removes stubborn mud layers and weathered surface impurities.
At the same time, continuous water flow is introduced into the tank. Through hydraulic classification, light mud and suspended impurities are discharged through the overflow outlet, achieving efficient solid-liquid separation. Clean and high-density ore is pushed steadily to the discharge end by the spiral blades, completing washing, desliming, purification, and conveying in a fully automatic continuous process.
