2. Applications
This small-scale log washer is versatile and ideally suited for operations requiring lower tonnage or high mobility:
Small-Scale Mining: Excellent for gold, copper, manganese, and iron ore processing plants with a capacity of 10 to 50 TPH (Tons Per Hour).
Mobile & Portable Crushing Plants: Can be easily mounted on a trailer or wheel-chassis for shifting between different work sites.
Pilot Plants & Laboratories: Used by mining laboratories and research facilities to test material washability before large-scale investment.
Aggregate & Sand Washing: Cleans crushed stone, river gravel, and construction waste contaminated with plastic clays or silt.
3. Working Principle
The small log washer operates on an inclined tank (typically angled at 6° to 10°), utilizing heavy-duty mechanical force to break down contaminants.
Material Feeding: The raw material enters the lower end of the inclined washing trough, meeting a continuous stream of wash water.
Aggressive Interlocking Scrubbing: Dual shafts fitted with alternating, high-strength paddles rotate counter-directionally toward each other. The paddles aggressively cut and chop through the sticky mud balls, forcing the rocks to grind against each other (material-on-material attrition).
Counter-Current Separation: The rotation pitch of the paddles continuously moves the heavy, scrubbed aggregates up the incline toward the high-end ore discharge. Concurrently, the dissolved mud, clay, and lighter silt form a slurry and flow downward, exiting through the overflow weir at the lower end.
