The Large Capacity Log Washer is engineered for high-throughput, heavy-duty industrial mining and aggregate washing plants. Designed to process massive volumes of highly contaminated raw materials, this machine specializes in crushing and dissolving tough, insoluble plastic clays, mud balls, and cemented aggregates that standard sand washers cannot touch. 3. Working Principle
The large capacity log washer utilizes a highly reinforced, inclined washing trough (angled at 6° to 12°) paired with intense mechanical force to execute rigorous material-on-material scrubbing.
High-Volume Feeding: Massive volumes of clay-bound material enter from the lower end (Feeding Material). Simultaneously, high-pressure water is injected through bottom inlets or top spray bars.
Aggressive Double-Shaft Attrition: Dual massive steel shafts lined with alternating, overlapping alloy paddles (Spirals) rotate counter-directionally. The sheer force of these heavy-duty blades cuts and shears through the thickest clay rings. The rocks are repeatedly thrown against each other, creating extreme material-on-material attrition that strips away tough matrix skins.
Counter-Current Separation: The clean, heavy ore is pushed upward along the inclined bed and discharges continuously at the top (Returned material / Clean aggregate discharge). The dissolved mud, clay, and lightweight contaminants mix into an unstable slurry and flow downward, overflowing via the lower weir (Overflow material).
