1. Product Introduction
Log Washer for Mining Beneficiation is an essential pre-washing equipment in mineral beneficiation production lines, widely used for the pre-treatment of all types of metallic and non-metallic ores.
After mining, raw ores are usually coated with clay, mud lumps, and various impurities. These materials reduce ore grade, cause blockage in beneficiation equipment, increase processing losses, and lower overall recovery rates.
This machine is specially designed for beneficiation conditions. Through powerful scrubbing and water washing, it efficiently removes surface clay and breaks down mud-coated mineral particles, upgrading raw ore quality and providing clean, qualified feed for downstream beneficiation processes. 2. Working Principle
The equipment adopts a pure physical process combining mechanical scrubbing, water washing, and gravity separation. It automatically separates ore, clay, and impurities with stable and simple operation.
1. Clay lump disintegration and washing
Raw ore enters the inclined trough, where spiral blades continuously tumble and scrub the material. This action effectively breaks up cemented clay lumps and removes stubborn clay coatings from ore surfaces.
2. Hydraulic washing and stratification
Continuous water spraying is applied during operation. Heavier clean ore particles settle quickly, while light clay and fine particles remain suspended in water, achieving effective separation.
3. Clean ore discharge
After washing, clean ore is steadily conveyed and discharged by spiral blades. After dewatering, it is sent to crushing, grinding, or beneficiation equipment.
4. Slurry overflow discharge
Suspended mud and waste materials are discharged through the tail overflow outlet, ensuring complete separation of ore, mud, and water, and preventing re-contamination.
