Working Principle

1. Attrition Washing and Clay Removal
Raw manganese ore enters the inclined washing trough, where rotating spiral blades continuously tumble and agitate the material. Intense particle-to-particle friction breaks down clay lumps and removes stubborn mud coatings from the surface of the ore.
2. Hydraulic Washing and Classification
High-pressure spray water thoroughly washes the material while promoting hydraulic separation. Due to the higher density of manganese ore, clean ore particles settle and remain within the washing zone, while lighter clay, mud, and fine waste materials remain suspended and are carried away with the water flow.
3. Clean Ore Discharge
After washing, the cleaned manganese ore is steadily conveyed upward by the spiral blades to the discharge outlet. Excess surface moisture is removed before the material is transferred to downstream crushing, screening, or beneficiation equipment.
4. Sludge and Wastewater Discharge
Clay slurry, suspended fines, and wastewater are discharged through the overflow outlet at the rear of the machine. This process ensures efficient mud-water separation and prevents recontamination of the cleaned ore.
