3. Working Principle
The log washer utilizes an inclined tank (typically angled at 6° to 12°) and the mechanical force of interlocking paddles to achieve rigorous scrubbing.

1.Feeding & Slurrying: Raw material enters from the lower end of the inclined washing trough, while water is introduced from the bottom or spray bars above.
2.Material-on-Material Attrition: The dual shafts rotate counter-directionally toward each other. The alternating paddles aggressively cut, punch, and tumble the feed material. This creates severe friction, forcing the rocks to grind against each other (material-on-material attrition), which strips away stubborn, cemented clay coatings.
3.Counter-Current Washing: Clean, heavier aggregates are conveyed up the incline by the pitch of the paddles and are discharged at the top end (Ore discharge). Meanwhile, the dissolved mud and lighter waste combine with water to form a slurry, flowing in the opposite direction to discharge via the weir at the lower end (Clayey overflow).
