EXSQ Hydroclone
Our hydrocyclone integrates cyclone and filtration. It is mainly used to remove solid particles in groundwater and underground hot water and other water sources. In the field of water supply treatment, its effects of sand removal, turbidity reduction, and solid-liquid separation are significant.
Scope of application
1.It is mainly applicable to the water quality treatment and control of raw water and water replenishment, such as: river water& well water sand removal, coal washing water, industrial beneficiation, solid-liquid separation, liquid degassing, and separation of immiscible liquid.
2.It can be widely used in water source heat pump systems, heating water, central air-conditioning cooling water& frozen water, iron and steel& power generation& chemical and other industrial and mining enterprises, tap water, sea water, surface water, ground water, etc.
Features
1.EXSQ type hydrocyclone is mainly composed of tank body, cone pipe, pressure gauge and sand discharge valve. The tank body and the cone pipe are connected by flanges, and sealed by O ring.
2.Secondary filtration, the filtration efficiency of the sand and gravel in the water is over 99%.
3.Accurate wire cutting processing ensures maximum cyclone efficiency.
4.Proper internal processing ensures the equipment's impact resistance, wear resistance and corrosion resistance.
5.Solve the difficult problem that it’s difficult to treat the dirt of small specific gravity by the traditional automatic hydrocyclone, such as suspended matter, leaves, paper scraps, etc.
6.The hydrocyclone have a safe, stable and continuous working ability within the required pressure and flow range.
Working principle
The hydrocyclone is a new type of separation device combined with a filtering device which is based on the sieving principle of solid particles of the fluid rotationally flow in the hydrocyclone.
After the water flow enters the device tangentially from the hydrocyclone inlet under a certain pressure, a strong rotational movement occurs. Due to the different density of sand and water, the low density water rises under the combined action of centrifugal force, centripetal force and fluid drag force and then discharged from the water outlet, high-density sand is discharged from the sewage outlet at the bottom of the device. The tiny particles that float up together along the water flow are then filtered by a second-stage filtering device to achieve the purpose of sand removal.
Compared with the current hydrocyclones on the market, our hydrocyclone adds a filtering unit (the filtering accuracy can be selected by the user), which has the advantages of high sand removal rate, space saving, low missed capture rate for a bit small particles, and stable working conditions.

Selection instructions
1.Before equipment selection, the followings shall be clear:
1.1The nominal diameter and connection method of the pipeline connected with the water inlet and outlet of the hydrocyclone.
1.2Working pressure.
1.3Cyclone direction and relative position of inlet& outlet.
2.Depending on the system's processing flow or filtering accuracy, several automatic hydrocyclones can be used in series or in parallel.
3.For systems with higher accuracy requirements, a filter with higher accuracy should be installed after the automatic hydrocyclone sand remover to avoid system blockage according to the requirements of filtration accuracy.
