1. Product Description
The Gold CIL Carbon Adsorption System is the core functional unit of the entire CIL gold processing line, specially designed for synchronous gold adsorption and separation in cyanide leaching slurry. It is compatible with small to medium-scale gold mining plants with processing capacities from 50TPD to 300TPD and above, and widely applied for oxidized gold ore, rock gold ore and low-grade gold ore treatment. The complete system consists of leaching adsorption tanks, professional tank agitators, carbon screening devices, carbon transfer pumps and supporting control units. It undertakes the key process of capturing dissolved gold-cyanide complexes in ore slurry through activated carbon. We provide standardized system configuration, personalized process customization, factory pre-testing, on-site installation guidance and full-cycle after-sales technical services for global gold mineral processing projects.
2. Working Principle
After ore crushing, grinding and cyanide leaching, fine gold in the ore is fully dissolved into slurry to form stable gold-cyanide complex ions. The qualified ore slurry continuously flows through the series of adsorption tanks of the CIL carbon adsorption system. With the assistance of professional tank agitators, the slurry maintains a uniform suspended state and fully contacts with granular activated carbon added in the tanks.
Different from traditional separated leaching and adsorption processes, this system realizes simultaneous leaching and carbon adsorption. Activated carbon features strong selective adsorption capacity for gold-cyanide complexes, which can rapidly capture dissolved gold ions from the slurry. Through counter-current circulation of ore slurry and activated carbon, gold is continuously enriched on the carbon surface to form gold-loaded carbon. The screened gold-rich carbon is delivered to the desorption and electrowinning system for subsequent gold extraction, while the tailing slurry without gold is transferred to the next processing link, achieving continuous and efficient gold enrichment and separation.
