Product Introduction
Spiral separator is a centrifugal flow film that generates a dynamic slurry flow on the inclined surface of the spiral based on the differences in specific gravity, particle size, and form between useful minerals and gangue minerals. In the comprehensive force field of gravity and centrifugal force, different particles are subjected to gravity, hydrodynamic pressure, and friction force to achieve the separation of useful minerals and gangue minerals.
2. Application
Suitable for sorting gold ore, iron ore, ilmenite, chromite, pyrite, zircon, hematite, monazite, phosphorite, tungsten ore, tin ore, tantalum ore, niobium ore, as well as other non-ferrous metals, rare metals, and non-metallic mineral bodies with specific gravity differences.
3. Working Principle
Raise the spiral separator, calibrate the vertical line, fix it in a suitable position with an iron frame or wood, and use a sand pump to send the ore sand to the two feeding ports on the top of the spiral. Add supplementary water, adjust the concentration of the ore slurry, and the ore slurry will naturally swirl from high to low, generating an inertial centrifugal force in the rotating slope flow rate. Based on the differences in the specific gravity, particle size, and shape of the ore sand, the gravity and centrifugal force of the swirl separate the ore and sand. The concentrate flows into the concentrate hopper and is connected to the sand tank through a pipeline, and the tailings flow into the tailings hopper and are connected to the sand tank through a pipeline. Then, the sand pump is used to discharge it, completing the entire process of ore selection.
