Alloy Steel Pipe is a high-grade pipe manufactured by adding chromium, molybdenum, vanadium and other alloy elements into carbon steel. Heat Resistant Alloy Pipe and High Pressure Alloy Pipe are its two mainstream categories. With excellent comprehensive mechanical properties, high temperature resistance, high pressure resistance, creep resistance and corrosion resistance, Alloy Steel Pipe overcomes the limitations of ordinary steel pipes. Heat Resistant Alloy Pipe can operate stably under high temperature conditions for a long time, while High Pressure Alloy Pipe is capable of bearing heavy pressure loads. Widely used in power, petrochemical, boiler, heating and other harsh working conditions, it is an essential material for high-end industrial equipment.
1. Implementation Standards
Domestic Standards: Comply with GB/T 5310, GB/T 6479, GB/T 9948 and other national standards. We strictly control chemical composition, dimensions and various performance indicators of Alloy Steel Pipe to ensure the quality of Heat Resistant Alloy Pipe and High Pressure Alloy Pipe.
International Standards: In accordance with ASME SA213, SA335, DIN 17175, EN 10216 and other international standards. Our products meet the procurement and application requirements of projects at home and abroad.
2. Main Materials & Grades
2.1 Chromium-Molybdenum Alloy (General High Pressure & Medium Temperature Resistance)
15CrMo, 12Cr1MoVG: Classic materials specially used for boilers with outstanding creep resistance. The manufactured Alloy Steel Pipe adapts to medium, high temperature and high pressure environments, which are common Heat Resistant Alloy Pipe and High Pressure Alloy Pipe for power station boilers and industrial boilers.
2.2 High Chromium-Molybdenum Alloy (High Temperature & High Pressure)
P11, P12, P22, 10Cr9Mo1VNb (T91/P91): With refined alloy ratio, they feature greatly improved high temperature and pressure resistance. As preferred materials for high-end Alloy Steel Pipe, they are widely applied in supercritical and ultra-supercritical power generating units, belonging to heavy-duty High Pressure Alloy Pipe and Heat Resistant Alloy Pipe.
2.3 Manganese-based & Other Alloys (Wear Resistance & High Strength)
16Mn, 40Cr, 35CrMo: High strength, good toughness and excellent impact resistance. Such Alloy Steel Pipe focuses on mechanical load bearing and wear resistance, suitable for hydraulic equipment, engineering machinery and oil & gas transmission pipelines.
3. Specification Parameters
Outer Diameter: 12–820mm, mainstream sizes: 20–426mm. A full range of dimensions meets the selection demands of Alloy Steel Pipe, Heat Resistant Alloy Pipe and High Pressure Alloy Pipe for various working conditions.
Wall Thickness: 2–120mm, mainstream sizes: 3–65mm. High Pressure Alloy Pipe with different wall thicknesses matches different pressure levels. Standard Alloy Steel Pipe is available in stock.
Length: Standard fixed length 6–12m. Custom lengths are acceptable to fit on-site installation and pipeline layout of Heat Resistant Alloy Pipe.
Delivery Condition: Adopt normalizing, normalizing plus tempering, annealing and other heat treatment processes to eliminate internal stress and stabilize metallographic structure, ensuring uniform and reliable performance of every Alloy Steel Pipe.
4. Manufacturing Process
Our Alloy Steel Pipe is produced by seamless rolling technology, including hot rolling and cold drawing for different product types:
Hot Rolling: Mainly for large-diameter and thick-wall Alloy Steel Pipe. It features high production efficiency and superior structural strength, which is the main processing method for large-size High Pressure Alloy Pipe.
Cold Drawing: Mainly for small-diameter and thin-wall Alloy Steel Pipe. It has high dimensional accuracy and smooth surface with strict tolerance control, mostly used for precision pipelines and medium & small-size Heat Resistant Alloy Pipe.
Integral forming without welds fundamentally improves pressure bearing and sealing performance. Alloy Steel Pipe, Heat Resistant Alloy Pipe and High Pressure Alloy Pipe are not easy to crack or leak under complex conditions with higher operation safety.
5. Performance Requirements
5.1 Mechanical Properties at Room Temperature
All indicators including tensile strength, yield strength, elongation and impact energy are up to standard. Alloy Steel Pipe has good ductility and toughness, and resists deformation and fracture under heavy load. The load-bearing capacity of High Pressure Alloy Pipe is far better than ordinary carbon steel pipe.
5.2 High Temperature Performance
As professional Heat Resistant Alloy Pipe, it has excellent high-temperature lasting strength, good resistance to high-temperature creep, oxidation and thermal fatigue. It maintains stable performance during long-term operation in high-temperature flue gas and media.
5.3 Pressure & Corrosion Resistance
High Pressure Alloy Pipe passes multi-stage hydrostatic tests with strong and durable pressure resistance. Chromium-molybdenum Alloy Steel Pipe also features good resistance to acid, alkali, oil and gas corrosion, applicable to chemical and oil & gas transmission environments.
5.4 Testing Standards
Every Alloy Steel Pipe is inspected in appearance, dimension and hydrostatic pressure one by one. Heat Resistant Alloy Pipe and High Pressure Alloy Pipe specially for high temperature and high pressure will undergo additional ultrasonic testing, eddy current testing, metallographic analysis and chemical composition re-inspection to ensure qualified products.
6. Main Applications
Power & Boiler Industry: Superheaters, reheaters, economizers and main steam pipelines of power station boilers. They are standard Alloy Steel Pipe, Heat Resistant Alloy Pipe and High Pressure Alloy Pipe for thermal power and cogeneration projects.
Petrochemical Industry: Refining units, hydrogenation equipment, high-temperature reactors and high-pressure pipelines for oil & gas delivery. Corrosion-resistant and high-temperature resistant Alloy Steel Pipe is widely adopted.
Heating Industry: High temperature and high pressure steam transmission pipelines and heat exchanger pipelines. High Pressure Alloy Pipe and Heat Resistant Alloy Pipe are the first choice.
Machinery & Hydraulic Industry: Heavy machinery parts, high-pressure hydraulic pipelines and cylinder pipes. High-strength Alloy Steel Pipe guarantees stable operation of equipment.
7. Surface & Quality Requirements
The surface of Alloy Steel Pipe is flat and smooth, free from cracks, folds, scabs, delamination and excessive oxide scales. The inner wall is smooth to reduce medium flow resistance. Pipe ends are neatly cut with bevel or chamfer as required, no burrs for easy welding and connection. Strict dimensional tolerance, straightness and roundness are guaranteed. Heat Resistant Alloy Pipe and High Pressure Alloy Pipe have long service life for continuous long-term operation.
8. Packaging & Marking
Packaging: Pipes are bundled reasonably with plastic end caps for protection. Medium and small-size Alloy Steel Pipe and Heat Resistant Alloy Pipe are wrapped with woven bags and stretch films. Large-diameter High Pressure Alloy Pipe is covered with tarpaulin for comprehensive protection against moisture, rust and collision, suitable for long-distance land and sea transportation.
Marking: Material, specification, execution standard, heat number and manufacturer are clearly printed on each pipe. Complete quality certificates and test reports are delivered together with goods. The information of Alloy Steel Pipe, Heat Resistant Alloy Pipe and High Pressure Alloy Pipe is fully traceable.
9. Delivery Cycle
In-stock Alloy Steel Pipe, Heat Resistant Alloy Pipe and High Pressure Alloy Pipe: Goods will be loaded and delivered within 3–7 working days after payment.
Alloy Steel Pipe with custom specifications, special materials and non-standard wall thickness: Production lead time is 15–25 working days, delivered in order of production schedule.
