Color Coated Steel Coil is a composite steel product made of cold-rolled, hot-dip galvanized or galvalume steel substrate, pretreated by degreasing and passivation, continuously coated with organic paint and cured at high temperature. Prepainted Steel Coil combines metal strength with corrosion resistance and decoration of the coating. High Weather Resistant Color Coated Coil is suitable for harsh outdoor environments, serving as a core material in construction, home appliances and industrial equipment fields. Our Color Coated Steel Coil features complete specifications, rich colors and strong coating adhesion, supporting customized coatings, colors and deep processing services to meet diverse application needs.
1. Product Overview
Color Coated Steel Coil (full name: color coated steel sheet coil) is cured at 180–220℃ after coating with polyester (PE), silicon-modified polyester (SMP), high weather resistant polyester (HDP) or polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF). Prepainted Steel Coil adopts a three-layer structure of "substrate + coating + organic coating" with double protection, corrosion resistance far exceeding ordinary galvanized steel. High Weather Resistant Color Coated Coil uses a high-end coating system with excellent UV aging and salt spray resistance, enjoying an outdoor service life of 15–30 years, widely used in workshops, roofs, exterior walls, home appliance panels and transportation facilities.

2.1 Implementation Standards
Domestic: GB/T 12754—2019 (color coated steel sheets and strips); International: JIS G3322, EN 10169, ASTM A755; All Color Coated Steel Coil, Prepainted Steel Coil and High Weather Resistant Color Coated Coil comply with national and international high-end procurement standards, with third-party inspection reports available.
2.2 Substrate Material Grades
Hot-dip galvanized substrate: TDC51D+Z, TS250GD+Z, TS350GD+Z, TS550GD+Z
Galvalume substrate: TDC51D+AZ, TS350GD+AZ (better corrosion resistance than galvanized substrate)
Zinc-aluminum-magnesium substrate: TDC51D+ZM (high corrosion resistance, suitable for coastal/chemical environments)
Cold-rolled substrate: SPCC, DC01 (special for home appliance inner panels and decorative parts).

PE Polyester (Standard): Cost-effective, good processability, weather resistance 5–8 years, suitable for indoor and ordinary outdoor scenarios;
SMP Silicon-Modified Polyester: Stain and heat resistant, weather resistance 8–12 years, suitable for workshop and warehouse roofs;
HDP High Weather Resistant Polyester: UV and salt spray resistant, weather resistance 12–18 years, mainstream choice for High Weather Resistant Color Coated Coil;

4.2 Process Advantages
All Color Coated Steel Coil adopts a fully continuous automatic production line with precise control throughout degreasing → washing → passivation → coating → curing → cooling. Prepainted Steel Coil features strong coating adhesion and flexibility, with no cracking or peeling after 180° bending. High Weather Resistant Color Coated Coil uses a high-end coating formula with salt spray resistance ≥1000 hours and UV aging resistance ≥5000 hours without fading or chalking.

7. Quality Inspection Standards
Each batch of Color Coated Steel Coil undergoes full-process quality inspection: substrate composition, coating weight, coating thickness, adhesion, bending, salt spray resistance and color difference tests. Defects such as missing coating, scratches, color difference and peeling are strictly eliminated. Third-party SGS, BV and TUV inspection is supported. All delivered Prepainted Steel Coil and High Weather Resistant Color Coated Coil are accompanied by material certificates, coating test reports and factory inspection documents for full traceability.
