Angle steel (angle iron) is a long strip structural steel with two mutually perpendicular sides in L-shape, widely used in civil engineering, steel structure frames and mechanical manufacturing. Our main products includehot rolled angle steel, galvanized angle steel and unequal angle steel. 1. Core Material Grades

All angle steel adopts high-quality standard steel billets with pure material, low impurities and stable mechanical indicators, fully meeting national engineering standards and international export inspection requirements. Available material grades are as follows:

  • Q195: High toughness and good plasticity, easy to bend and process. It is mainly used for light-duty supports, simple frames and general decorative structures, serving as the economical grade for ordinary hot rolled angle steel.

  • Q235B: The most popular general carbon steel grade with balanced strength, toughness and weldability. It adapts to most building structures, bracket manufacturing and engineering connection components, and is the mainstream base material for galvanized angle steel and conventional structural angle steel.

  • Q355B: Low-alloy high-strength steel with higher tensile strength, compression resistance and impact resistance than Q235B. Ideal for heavy-load steel frames, bridge auxiliary structures, mechanical equipment supports and large-scale infrastructure projects.

  • 45# Carbon Steel: High hardness and wear resistance, suitable for precision mechanical parts, high-strength structural accessories and industrial customized components requiring high rigidity.

  • Export Special Grades: SS400, ASTM A36, S235JR, S355JR, fully compliant with European, American and Southeast Asian international standards, specially supplied for overseas engineering and foreign trade orders.

2. Product Classification & Process Features

2.1 Hot Rolled Angle Steel

Hot rolled angle steel is integrally formed by high-temperature continuous hot rolling process. It features uniform metallographic structure, stable overall strength, flat surface and precise right-angle verticality. Without internal cracks, folding or slag inclusion, it has excellent welding, bending and punching performance. It can be directly processed and installed without secondary finishing. Widely used in factory steel frames, building supports, structural connection parts and tower manufacturing, it is the most versatile and cost-effective structural steel profile.

2.2 Galvanized Angle Steel

Galvanized angle steel is produced by hot-dip galvanizing or electro-galvanizing treatment on qualified hot-rolled base steel. The dense and adhesive zinc layer isolates air, moisture and acid-base corrosion, providing long-term rust-proof and weather-resistant performance. The surface is bright and uniform without missing plating or peeling. No additional anti-rust paint is required. It is the preferred material for outdoor structures, coastal environments, humid workshops, municipal guardrails and power engineering supports.

2.3 Unequal Angle Steel

Unequal angle steel refers to L-shaped steel with different widths of two sides. It adopts optimized asymmetric section design, which can bear uneven lateral pressure and adapt to special structural stress conditions that equal angle steel cannot meet. With stable torsion resistance and strong structural adaptability, it is widely used for mechanical equipment frames, vehicle manufacturing, ship auxiliary structures, building special supports and irregular engineering connection parts.

Galvanized angle steel completely retains the original mechanical properties of hot rolled steel. The zinc coating only provides anti-corrosion protection without affecting structural strength and processing performance.
