1. Product Overview

Cast pipes are integral metal pipes formed by molten metal pouring. Different from seamless and welded pipes, cast pipes have no weld seam and no rolling lamination. The mainstream types include ductile iron pipe, gray iron pipe, cast steel pipe and centrifugal heat-resistant cast pipe.

With high rigidity, excellent anti-settlement performance, strong corrosion resistance and long service life, cast pipes are widely used for municipal water supply & drainage, gas transmission, high-temperature industrial furnaces and underground infrastructure projects.

3. Product Classification & Materials

Ductile Iron Pipe (QT500-7)

Main material for municipal projects, high toughness, impact resistance, anti-fracture, applied for water & gas pipelines.

Gray Cast Iron Pipe (HT200/HT250)

High hardness but brittle, mostly used for old pipe renovation, eliminated in new projects.

Cast Steel Pipe (ZG230-450/ZG270-500)

High strength and weldable, used for structural steel joints and industrial process pipelines.

Heat-Resistant Centrifugal Cast Pipe (2520/310S)

High chromium-nickel alloy, resistant to 1000℃+ high temperature, used for furnace tubes and cracking tubes.

4. Manufacturing Process

Static pouring for standard pipes; centrifugal casting for high-density, uniform-wall premium pipes.Process: Melting → composition adjustment → casting → annealing → finishing → anti-corrosion treatment → pressure test.
