1. Product Overview
Cold rolled steel coils are produced by pickled hot rolled coils as raw material, multi-pass cold rolling under room temperature without high-temperature heating. Featuring ultra-precise dimensional tolerance, smooth bright surface and uniform thin thickness, annealed CR coils own excellent ductility for stamping, bending and painting. They are key raw materials for home appliances, automobiles, hardware, coating substrates and precision machinery shells.
Compared with hot rolled coils, cold rolled coils have no black oxide scale, tighter tolerance, flat bright surface and ultra-thin gauges. Two main delivery states: annealed soft coil (for stamping) and hard cold rolled coil (for high-strength structural parts).

2.1 General Stamping Low Carbon Steel (Most Widely Used)
SPCC / DC01 / St12 / Q195
Application: General housings, cabinets, hardware accessories, storage racks, ventilation pipes, painted components
Performance: Suitable for ordinary stamping, moderate elongation, cost-effective
SPCD / DC03 / St13
Application: Medium deep drawing parts, home appliance shells, common auto panels, distribution boxes
Performance: Better elongation, less cracking during stamping
SPCE / DC04 / DC05 / DC06 / 08AL Deep Drawing Steel
Application: Ultra-deep complex drawing parts, auto interior components, fuel tanks, washing machine inner barrels, precision stretched shells
Performance: Low yield strength, high r-value, excellent anti-cracking performance for complex curved forming
2. Hard Cold Rolled Coils (Non-annealed)
Grades: SPHC-CR, Q235 Hard CR
Working condition: High-rigidity structural parts without bending, heat treatment required after stamping
Performance: High hardness & yield strength, poor formability, only for simple bending
2.3 Low Alloy High Strength Cold Rolled Coils
Grades: Q355, HC340LA, HC420LA
Application: Auto structural parts, chassis reinforcements, heavy equipment shells
Performance: High strength & lightweight, excellent impact resistance & load capacity

4. Complete Production Process
Pickling Substrate: Remove all oxide scale from hot rolled coils for clean rust-free surface
Room-temperature Cold Rolling: Continuous multi-stand cold rolling to target ultra-thin gauge, improve surface smoothness
Bell Annealing (Mandatory for Soft Coils): Low-temperature annealing to eliminate work hardening and restore ductility & stamping performance
Skin Pass Temper Rolling: Optimize flatness, control surface roughness and eliminate yield lines
Edge Trimming & Slitting: Remove rough edges, cut into customized widths as requested
Anti-rust Oil Coating: Uniform stamping oil applied to prevent rust during storage & shipment
Full Inspection, Mark Spraying, Packing & Warehousing

Spectral chemical composition test: Strict control of low C/Mn/S/P content; Alt aluminum content tested for Al-killed deep drawing steel
Mechanical property test: Yield strength, tensile strength, elongation, n-value & r-value (for deep drawing), hardness
Formability test: 180° cold bending test, Erichsen cupping test to verify stamping performance
Full dimensional inspection: Random check of thickness, width, coil weight, flatness and camber per coil
Surface visual inspection: Grade screening for scratches, pits, roll marks, rust spots and oil stains

Coil Marking: Each coil sprayed with grade, standard, dimension, coil weight, heat batch number and surface grade
Packing Standard: Inner moisture-proof anti-rust paper + plastic film, cross binding with steel strips; plastic guard rings for coil inner holes. Reinforced heavy-duty packing for sea shipment against moisture
