1. Product Overview
Boiler steel plates are special hot rolled steel plates for pressure-bearing equipment. They are mainly used for high-temperature pressure equipment such as industrial boilers, waste heat boilers, power station boiler drums, header barrels, heat exchangers and steam storage tanks, operating under medium-high temperature and alternating pressure for long service life.The products feature low impurity content, dense internal structure without lamination, stable high-temperature strength, excellent room & high temperature impact toughness, outstanding weldability and good anti-fatigue & creep resistance, which effectively avoid safety hazards such as cracking, bulging and leakage under long-term high-temperature service.

2.1 Q245R Carbon Boiler Plate
Working condition: Small and medium-sized industrial boilers below 475℃, low-pressure drums, ordinary heat exchangers, normal temperature steam storage tanks
Performance: Good ductility, easy welding, cost-effective, stable service above -20℃
Mechanical index: Tensile strength 400–520MPa, yield strength ≥245MPa
2.2 Q345R Low Alloy Boiler Plate (Most Widely Used Grade)
Working condition: Power station boilers, waste heat boilers, medium & high pressure drums, chemical high-temperature heat exchange equipment, steam buffer tanks
Performance: High medium-high temperature stress rupture strength, excellent creep resistance, applicable for -20℃ ~ 475℃
Mechanical index: Tensile strength 510–650MPa, yield strength ≥345MPa
2.3 16MnDR Special Low-temperature Boiler Plate
Working condition: Low-temperature waste heat boilers, outdoor pressure boilers in northern cold areas, low-temperature steam heat exchange equipment
Performance: Qualified -40℃ low-temperature impact toughness, no brittle fracture risk under low temperature environment
2.4 P265GH, P355GH European Standard Boiler Plates for Export
Working condition: Boilers and pressure vessels exported to EU, heating equipment, compliant with CE pressure equipment certification
Performance: Stable high-temperature metallographic structure, meet European mechanical and UT inspection standards for boiler plates

4. Complete Production Process
Steelmaking Refining: LF+VD secondary refining furnace, strictly limit S and P impurities to reduce high-temperature brittleness and lamination defects
Continuous casting slab forming, surface grinding to remove subcutaneous cracks and inclusion defects
Uniform high-temperature heating, segmented temperature-controlled rolling to refine grain structure and improve high-temperature toughness
Heat treatment process: Matched normalizing / tempering / controlled rolling according to steel grades to stabilize high-temperature mechanical performance
Shot blasting to remove oxide scale for convenient UT inspection and barrel welding
Full physical-chemical mechanical tests + 100% ultrasonic testing per plate
Cut to fixed length, marking spraying, packing & warehousing
5. Mandatory Factory Inspection Items
Full spectral composition analysis: Strictly control carbon equivalent, Mn, Si, S, P trace element content
Mechanical property test: Room-temperature tensile, high-temperature tensile, normal/low temperature V-notch impact and hardness test
180° cold bending test, no cracks, lamination or peeling after bending
100% ultrasonic testing to detect internal lamination, shrinkage cavities, inclusions and internal cracks
Full visual inspection: Free of scabs, double skins, pits and surface cracks

Packing: Thin plates bundled with steel strips on wooden pallets with rainproof film; thick plates fixed separately, reinforced seaworthy packing for export
Delivery Lead TimeRegular in-stock Q245R, Q345R boiler plates: Delivery within 3–7 days; customized 16MnDR low-temperature plates and extra-thick plates: 7–10 days, container shipment available from Tianjin Port
