1. Product Overview
Angle steel, also known as angle iron, features an L-shaped cross-section, divided into equal angle steel and unequal angle steel. It is integrally hot rolled from carbon steel and low alloy steel billets with perpendicular neat edges, excellent bending and shear resistance, and easy processing for welding, punching, cutting and bending. Three surface finishes are available: hot rolled black scale, pickled bright finish and hot-dip galvanized anti-corrosion coating. As the basic supporting section steel for steel structure engineering, it is widely used in factory supports, transmission towers, bridges, guardrails, equipment bases, embedded connectors, ship auxiliary materials and municipal support projects.

Mechanical index: Yield strength ≥355MPa, high bearing capacity, stable low-temperature impact toughness and fatigue resistance
Application: Heavy factory beams and columns, large bridge supports, ship frames, open-air high-load steel structures, high-voltage transmission towers
2.3 45# Medium Carbon Machining Angle Steel
Performance: Quenched and tempered for adjustable hardness & strength, suitable for milling, drilling precision machining
Application: Machinery equipment bases, tooling fixtures, positioning supports, blanks for transmission equipment processing

4. Complete Production Process
Billet Heating: Continuous casting slabs heated to 1100–1250℃ for uniform austenitization
Multi-pass Hot Rolling Forming: Continuous rough & finish rolling to form integrated L-shaped right-angle cross-section
Cooling & Straightening: Natural cooling on cooling bed, dedicated straightener to eliminate bending & distortion defects
Cut to Fixed Length: Sheared to standard lengths per customer requirements
Surface Treatment (on request): Shot blasting / pickling / hot-dip galvanizing & passivation
Full dimensional & visual inspection, marking spraying, bundling & warehousing
5. Mandatory Factory Inspection Items
Spectral composition analysis: Strict control of C, Mn, S, P impurities to match grade strength requirements
Mechanical performance test: Room-temperature tensile test, 180° cold bending test without cracks or lamination after bending
Full sectional dimensional inspection: Leg width, leg thickness, right-angle perpendicularity, straightness and end flatness
Special galvanized coating test (for galvanized angle steel): Zinc coating weight, coating adhesion and neutral salt spray resistance duration
Visual surface inspection: Free of cracks, scabs, lamination, distortion, missing plating and rust spots

Packing Standard: Cross-bound with steel strips and fixed on wooden pallets, covered with rainproof film; export heavy-duty seaworthy packing with inner moisture-proof paper
