1. Product Overview

Checkered steel plates, also known as anti-slip plates, tread plates or diamond plates, are produced by a hot rolling embossing process using carbon steel, galvanized steel or aluminum alloy substrates. Continuous raised patterns are rolled onto the plate surface through one integrated forming process, without bonding or splicing.

The concave-convex texture greatly improves surface friction, combining anti-slip, wear-resistant, load-bearing, drainage, dust-proof and decorative functions. It solves the common disadvantages of flat plates, such as easy slipping, water and dust accumulation, and insufficient bearing capacity. Checkered plates are widely used in industrial platforms, ships, vehicles, building stairs, equipment walkways, municipal engineering and other anti-slip load-bearing scenarios.

Main pattern types:Lentil / teardrop pattern (most widely used), diamond pattern, five-bar pattern, round bean pattern, orange peel pattern.

    1. Uncoil hot rolled substrate and clean the surface to remove oxide scale and impurities.

    2. Integrated embossing rolling by high-temperature mill, forming standard raised patterns in one pass.

    3. Temperature-controlled cooling to ensure full and uniform pattern height without incomplete forming.

    4. Straightening and leveling to eliminate rolling warpage and ensure flat plate surface.

    5. Fixed-length cutting and deburring. Galvanized and aluminum alloy materials can receive additional surface treatment.

    6. Full visual inspection, including pattern forming rate, missing patterns, scratches and pits. Random dimensional inspection.

    7. Mark spraying, classified packing and warehousing.
