1. Product Overview
Hot rolled H-beam features standard H cross-section integrally formed by hot rolling with parallel equal-thickness flanges and vertical web, different from I-beam with sloped inner flanges. Parallel flanges enable easy drilling and bolt connection. It is classified into hot rolled H-beam and welded H-beam. Per GB/T 11263, hot rolled H-beam includes 4 series: HW wide flange, HM medium flange, HN narrow flange, HP pile H-beam, only produced from carbon & HSLA steel without stainless steel grades.It owns large section modulus, superior bending & torsional stiffness, light self-weight and high load capacity, widely used as core load-bearing section for steel factories, high-rise frames, bridges, wind power, marine pile foundations and heavy equipment bases, mainstream structural steel for domestic infrastructure and overseas export steel structures.
