Expanded PTFE gasket, fully known as expanded polytetrafluoroethylene gasket, is cut or punched from 100% PTFE expanded polytfluoroethylene material. It features excellent properties such as creep resistance, cold flow resistance, ultra-low temperature resistance, zero pollution, and easy installation and replacement, making it suitable for applications with alternating temperatures on rough, worn, uneven, or fragile glass surface flanges. The performance characteristics of expanded PTFE gaskets include: Easy to cut and convenient to install, can be mechanically punched or manually cut into any gasket shape. They possess conformability, capable of creating a good sealing effect on rough or damaged flange surfaces without requiring much additional pressure They have strong chemical corrosion resistance, reacting with no chemicals except for a very few such as molten alkali metals, free fluorine, and tertiary nuclei, and can be applied to all applications within the allowable temperature range of 315°C. Due to their unique high-density fiber structure, they have strong creep resistance, contain no adhesives or, and possess highly stable mechanical properties. Expanded PTFE gaskets have a wide range of applications, including industries such as chemical, petrochemical, oil refining, chlor-alkali, acid production, fertilizer, pharmaceuticals, pesticides, chemical fiber, dyeing and chemicals, coking, gas, organic synthesis, non-ferrous metallurgy, iron and steel, atomic energy, and high-urity product production. They are suitable for sealing various fluids under demanding sealing conditions, such as strong acids, strong alkalis, gases, solvents, hydrocarbons, water, aluminum fluoride, hydrogen oxide.
